The work was performed on demand of Silvalytics Limited (Ireland) on the base of provided drone RGB images.

The objectives included building of orthomosaic (visual map) and 3D model, classification of forest type, count of trees, calculation of height of the trees and detecting windthrown trees.

The results were used for the forest taxation and calculation of volume of conifer and broadleaf wood within the study area.
